St. Luke's Health Now Episode Explores the Cancer Journey

The next episode of St. Luke’s Health Now will air on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ, Channel 69. This episode explores cancer care, including clinical trials, radiation oncology and the services offered by healthcare providers at St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN)

The episode features a panel of experts at SLUHN, including:

  • Dr. Arturo Loaiza-Bonilla, MD, MSEd, chief of hematology & oncology.

  • Dr. Eleanor Harris, MD, associate director of St. Luke’s Cancer Center

  • Mary-Kate Cellmer, vice president of St. Luke's Cancer Center.

“We are moving the needle in cancer care,” said Dr. Bonilla. “If you go back 20 years, the survival rate for pediatric cancers was close to 50%—now we’re around 95%. That’s amazing.”
