The episode features a panel of physical therapists at SLUHN:

  • Dr. Lauren Garges, DPT, Women’s Health Physical Therapy

  • Dr. Erin Donohue, DPT, Women’s Health Physical Therapy

  • Dr. Lara Seligman-Russo, DPT, Women’s Health Physical Therapy

  • Dr. Kylene Cochrane, DPT, Women’s Health Physical Therapy

“Women need to consider caring for themselves [after delivering a child],” said Dr. Garges. “[Post-childbirth] is often a time when women are only thinking of their baby and others, so we’re excited to begin the Postpartum Physical Therapy initiative at St. Luke's. The fourth trimester is truly defined as the first 12 weeks after giving birth, and for a long time that piece of the puzzle was unaddressed.”

St. Luke's HealthNow, hosted by Ashley Russo, founder and executive producer of ASR Media Productions, is a co-production of ASR Media and SLUHN.

St. Luke's HealthNow complements other St. Luke's health and wellness programming, including Talk with Your Doctor, a 30-minute live call-in show in its 21st year. St. Luke's HealthNow and Talk with Your Doctor air in rotation every Monday at 6:30 PM on WFMZ-TV Channel 69 (Service Electric channel 508 and RCN channel 1007).
