The Tie That Binds

Meet Krysta Gunderman, project manager and aptly-monikered superwoman for ASR Media Productions. The Bloomsburg University graduate joined the #ASRTeam in May 2019 after working as a customer care account representative for Victaulic and a merchandising lead for Gap, Inc.   

Krysta fills critical gaps within the team so the production crew can do what they do best - craft incredible video. Even though she didn’t come to ASR Media with a video or television background, she quickly learned the ins and outs of the industry. Her management and customer service experience helps her rapidly anticipate potential pain points in new projects, solving problems before they even happen.  

While the team is off filming or editing, Krysta pulls strings behind the scenes to make sure everything comes together seamlessly.  She loves finding solutions to what others may deem impossible obstacles. From office managing and accounting to calendar coordination and community liaison, her multitasking skills truly make her ASR Media’s secret weapon. 

Time management and flexibility are essential to switching hats between clients and refocusing on new tasks at hand. Without project manager Krysta, the #ASRTeam wouldn’t have the ability to change gears so seamlessly.

“Every day is different – that’s the best part of the job! Staying in constant communication with the team is extremely important, so I know where they may need extra support,” said Krysta.

“Each one of us brings something different to the table, whether it’s a skill, a strength, a personality trait, or even a blind spot. They’re all vital ingredients in our recipe for success.”

Krysta appreciates the dynamic #ASRTeam and is inspired by everyone’s willingness to continually learn, improve, and grow to strengthen the company as a whole. It certainly doesn’t hurt that her coworkers are fun to be around. Her favorite memory while working for ASR Media is the pre-pandemic 2019 holiday party full of gift exchanges, a delicious dinner, and dancing.
