St. Luke's Health Now Episode Discusses Complex Brain, Spinal Care

The next episode of St. Luke’s Health Now will air on Monday, January 5, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ, Channel 69. This episode explores complex brain and spinal care and the services offered at St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN).

This episode features a panel of neurosurgeons at SLUHN:

• Dr. Stamatios “Thomas” Psarros, MD, section chief of neurosurgery

• Dr. Justice Owusu-Agyei, MD, spinal neurosurgeon

• Dr. Nathan Quig, MD, endovascular neurosurgeon

“It’s very important that people have a keen eye on their symptoms and get treatment as soon as possible,” said Dr. Psarros. “The quicker you get help, the better you will do, because the brain can’t go without oxygen for very long.”
