Newest Episode of St. Luke's HealthNow to Premiere May 27

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - May 15, 2019 - PRLog -- According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. About 610,000 people in the United States die from heart disease every year - 1 in every 4 deaths. Knowing the causes and warning signs can help to prevent heart attacks and increase the chance of survival. In the fourteenth episode of St. Luke's HealthNow, vascular health experts explore the first signs, symptoms and treatment options that are available. Also explored is St. Luke's Heart and Vascular Center as a regional leader in the diagnosis prevention and treatment of heart and vascular diseases. St. Luke's HealthNow will air Monday, May 27 at 6:30 PM on WFMZ Channel 69.

More Than Just Your Heart, taped before a live studio audience, welcomes an adroit team of St. Luke's vascular specialists, including Timothy Oskin, M.D., Section Chief of Vascular Surgery, who specializes in endovascular surgery and has a special interest in the minimally invasive treatment of vascular disease. Also featured are vascular surgeon, Jay Fisher, M.D., FACS, and Michael Ringold, M.D., fellowship trained and board certified interventional radiologist. Hosted by Ashley Russo, president and executive producer of ASR Media Productions, the program is a collaboration with St. Luke's University Health Network.
