St. Luke's HealthNow Episode Centers on Artificial Intelligence in Health Care

The next episode of St. Luke’s HealthNow will air on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. on WFMZ, Channel 69. The episode is the third St. Luke’s HealthNow program centered on artificial intelligence (AI). It explores different ways AI is transforming health care and the future of AI at St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN). 

The episode features a panel of experts from SLUHN:

  • Donna Sabol, senior vice president, chief quality officer

  • Elanor Harris, MD, radiation oncologist, St. Luke’s Cancer Center

  • Jennifer Axelban, DO, emergency and critical care medicine

“Artificial Intelligence is using machine learning, computers and data points to be able to predict things, in our instance, in health care about our patients,” said Sabol. “There are different areas within health care that we can use AI technology beyond just the clinical.”
